The Documentation Centre is open between 9am and 12pm and between 1pm and 4pm.

The Documentation Centre is closed on public holidays and bridge days.

Procedure for visiting CEDOC

The CEDOC can only be consulted by appointment.

  1. Send an email to booking.cdoc@warheritage.be at least 2 working days in advance to make an appointment.
  2. Attach the completed document request form (link)
  3. You don't have a reader's card yet? Attach the completed application form (link). Visiting the CEDOC reading room is free of charge, but registration is compulsory!
  4. The visitor will receive a confirmation email mentioning the date and hour of the appointment. CEDOC staff reserve the right to limit the number of requested documents.
  5. On the day of your appointment, the doors of the CEDOC will be closed. Please ring the bell.  If your name appears on the list a staff member will come and open the door.
  6. The reader sits at the table designated to him/her. After consultation he/she deposits the used documents on the designated cart.
  7. Xerox cards are not available. Visitors are to refer to the Adapted Reading Room Rules and the Adapted Repro Fees.
