Women’s Self-Defense & Empowerment Workshop!
On Saturday, 14 March, the Military Museum is hosting a self-defense and empowerment workshop for women, along with a guided tour “Women in times of War.”
Women’s Self-Defense & Empowerment Workshop : In a safe and supportive environment, you will learn how to use everything available to you — both physically and in your immediate surroundings — effectively, to safely get out of unwanted situations.

“Women in times of War.” | War is not only “a man’s business.” Canteen staff, nurses, resistance fighters, or soldiers: discover how women participated in various conflicts throughout our history. Three historical figures will be highlighted.
Workshop: Practical Information
• Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (including a 30-minute break)
• No prior experience required. Bring sportswear. Changing room available
• Maximum 20 participants (small group, personalized guidance)
• Instructors: Karin Verelst (HSK De Vagant) and Leyla Daem (Via Bruxellensis)
• Included with a ticket to the Military Museum — but registration required!
